Hua Hee Makan

The show will be exploring Malaysian local Hokkien food, where the host (Phoebe) will be going to different houses and be their guest, to cook Hokkien dishes with ‘mothers’. During the show, the host will act as agent and help the mother in each episode to get ingredients they need from the wet market. This is a funny and nice show.

The show not only will introduce the most traditional Hokkien snacks such as oyster omelet, Malaysian Hokkien bak kut teh, and also higher class of dish like Buddha jumps over the wall. Through the history and meaning of each dish, audience will be able to further understand the history of Hokkien.
